When is this project delivering?

March-May 2025. The timeline graphic in the campaign description is correct and cannot be edited after the Kickstarter campaign ends. The reward tiers have a mistake on them showing November and this was spotted a few minutes after launching the campaign, they cannot be edited after the Kickstarter campaign launches. Originally, when we drafted the campaign in January 2024, we entered fulfillment in November 2024 in the rewards tiers because if everything moves smoothly, it is likely that fulfillment will begin in that month. A few days before launching, we revised that timeline and increased it to March-May 2025 for fulfillment, mostly to add enough buffer time since we know things usually don’t go as planned. It was updated in the campaign description but we failed to update in the reward tiers. We aim to move swiftly in an effort to deliver early.

Big Box of Holding availability (from the previous campaign)

For this campaign, the deluxe tokens & neutral minis come in their own tuckbox, not bundled with the big box. This time we are not offering the Big Box on Kickstarter, we might offer it in the Pledge Manager as an add-on stretch goal where it will be produced only if a minimum quantity of them are ordered. Even if not met, we plan to continue to expand Lords of Vaala so it might be available in future campaigns.

Does the new expansion fit in the Big Box of Holding (from the previous campaign)

The plan with the Big Box of Holding is to gradually release trays in the coming years that optimize storage space for everything available in all current and future expansions. These trays will stack on top of each other. Right now, the Big Box of Holding serves as a slipcase to store all expansions and base game from the first campaign. While the plan with the stackable trays and new expansions unfolds, we suggest that you store the new expansion along with all other expansions inside the big box of holding and remove the base game. This allows you to easily grab the base game which will always be necessary to play the game.

Are sleeves supposed to be included in the all-in tier?

No. This was a mistake on the the Kickstarter campaign and couldn’t be corrected on tiers once live but it was mentioned by Draco Studios staff in comments and campaign description graphics that all-in tier does not includes sleeves. This is because not all gamers prefer their games sleeved and it is a limited item which is marked as an add-on while supplies last.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Terms and Conditions

You must answer your survey before the indicated deadline to expect to receive your items when fulfillment is reported to start. Otherwise, your items might be sent on a further wave of delivery and may incur in extra shipping charges or they may even no longer be available, in which case a refund is possible if reported within 6 months of fulfillment in your region..
You are responsible for updating your mailing address in the event of moving to a different address. Moving to a different country might incur in shipping fee adjustments.

Communication on our end is held through project updates on the Backerkit campaign for this project. You are responsible of making sure that your Kickstarter profile has email notifications for this project enabled.

No refunds are possible after locking orders unless we state that an item can no longer be delivered.
Delays in production and logistics are always possible and should be expected but If we determine a component cannot be delivered after 24 months of surveys being locked, we refund that completely at the best of our effort, including fees.

Once you receive your items, if a component is damaged or missing, you must report it within 30 days of receiving the product to expect a replacement. After that, replacements are not guaranteed since we may no longer have spare parts. Replacements are usually sent for no extra cost, but this will be defined in a case-by-case scenario. We require pictures and proof to file a claim with the involved parties (manufacturer, shipper, etc); these pictures should display the damaged goods including the packaging box in which your items arrived. The latter is particularly important for game boxes with dents.
We reserve the right to include a return shipping label for you to return the damaged goods.
